In chapter twelve of Hebrews, the author urges believers to draw their attention back to the finished work of the Cross, in order to launch them forward towards the New Covenant, to grace, and the coming Kingdom. The exhortation for us today is...do not be distracted or fearful because of the unrest and ever changing times in which we are living. We must draw on God's enabling grace, keep running the race with endurance and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

We have heard the expression, "My hands are tied", and have possibly said it ourselves. However, the opposite is true of God, "His Hands Are Not Tied", they've never been tied and will never be tied. When we seek Him, He has promised to open His hand and rain righteousness on our lives by... His power, His protection, and His provision.

When you do, you will find that you eliminate meaningless activities that fill your time and will discover how much time you will have, for meaningful activity in God's presence. No better use of your time!

The Apostle Paul while being imprisioned, chained to a Roman guard, penned in his letter to the Philippians, that no matter what circumstances he found himself in, he had learned to be content. We can as well, when we are willing to surrender and trust God's sovereignty in our lives and discover that He is enoough.
