God's Unchanging Call - Romans 11:1-10

In this chapter Paul answers this often asked question...has Israel been cast aside, or is there a future and a hope for them. The Calling of Samuel

The calling of Samuel by God is a pivotal moment in the history of Israel. This is not only a transition from the time of Judges to the prophets but Samuel is also the prophet that anoints the first kings of Israel. There is much from this story that we can apply to our lives but ultimately this story reveals to us on an even deeper level, the character of God. God at one time spoke to His people through prophets but now He speaks to His people through His Son, the King of Kings.
