Live At The End Of All Things - 1 Peter 4:7-11
Tuesday Oct 30, 2018
Tuesday Oct 30, 2018
Are you living a grateful life? If not, ask yourself if you are living only for yourself. Are you living a life of hospitality? If not, ask yourself if you are living just to serve yourself. Peter exhorts us to live with a sense of urgency, understanding our time is short. Therefore, we must be diligent in prayer, love each other more deeply, be hospitable to one another without complaining. Serve one another with the gifts we have been given, speak the Word of God so that in all things God through Jesus may be praised and glorified.

There is a delicate balance that can be really difficult to maintain. We must remain meaningfully engaged in the culture without losing our moral distinctiveness. We must cooperate with the demands of government while peacefully trying to infiltrate it with the good news of Jesus.

Jesus loves you and His church therefore, He wants us to make serving His body a priority.

Sunday Sep 16, 2018
Sunday Sep 16, 2018
Through the account of Cain and Abel we see how quickly the curse of sin took hold of mankind and the damaging effects that came along with that. These effects lead to Cain murdering Abel, however, his sin did not begin there but grew into Cain murdering his brother, Abel. Unfortunately we see the same progression in people's lives today. We don't have to take the same route as Cain. With confession and repentance there is forgiveness in Jesus. Not only that, the Church can be there for each other when we fall into these sins.
