Sunday Jun 06, 2021
In this chapter Daniel again shows us the importance and power of prayer. This prayer was so important, the LORD sent some of the most powerful angels of heaven to make sure his prayer was answered. This is a lesson for us to seek God on behalf of others both individuals and nations. The battle is won when we pray and it is lost when we don't.

A Ram, A Goat And God - Daniel 8
Tuesday May 11, 2021
Tuesday May 11, 2021
Daniel has his second vision of a two-horned ram destroyed by a one-horned goat, followed by the history of the "little horn", which is Daniel's code-word for the Grecian General Antiochus Epiphanes, (foreshadow of the coming Antichrist) who invaded the Beautiful Land and defiled the Holy Temple. Even though Daniel was physically affected and deeply troubled by this vision that he could not understand, he still rose up and went about the king's business and we must rise up and be about our King's business.

Just as we can have an eye impairment that prohibits us from seeing clearly, we can also have a spiritual impairment that dims our view of Truth, our ability to see who we are to God, and darkens the hope we have within us. Paul gives us the needed prescription that will cause the eyes of our hearts to be opened.

The Vision - Daniel 7
Sunday Apr 25, 2021
Sunday Apr 25, 2021
Daniel chapter seven is the most important chapter dealing with end time prophecy in the Old Testament. Some of the events mentioned have already been fulfilled while other major events are yet to be fulfilled. The vision Daniel had was extremely troubling to him. However, included in his vision was the LORD, the "Ancient of Days" who was seated on His throne, who still is and will always be reigning. If He reigns in your life you are a part of His eternal Kingdom and will one day rule with Him.

Sunday Apr 11, 2021
Sunday Apr 11, 2021
Proverbs 16:18 tells us, "Pride comes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall." In Daniel chapter 5 we see this scripture fulfilled in the life of Belshazzar, King of Babylon who refused to repent and humble himself even after he saw, "the writing on the wall", written by the hand of the King of Kings. The question for us is, how will we respond to "the writing on the wall?
