Then He was seen by other followers, including 500 people on a single occasion. Soon, word spread everywhere that Jesus had risen from the dead . But could Jesus' resurrection simply be a 2000-year-old legend? Or is it based upon verifiable evidence?

What is Passover about? It's salvation, initiated by God, towards underserving people, out of His love and faithfulness , to make His name known. Sounds an awful lot like the Gospel, right? He has been in the business of rescuing and redeeming underserving people since the beginning. Passover is a major expression of that and one that pointed to a future Passover, in which not just a lamb but the Lamb would suffer and die.

We find in the words of Isaiah that God deeply cares for His people. Even in the darkest of times and when our future looks dim, we need not despair because God is always actively working on our behalf. Knowing that truth, should produce in us, perfect peace and unending joy.

As God came to the nation of Israel, He comes to our nation telling us to repent and turn away from our sins. We must as individuals take responsibility and do our part in living holy lives and faithfully praying for our nation.
