The Lord will never forget or fail to keep His promises to His people. It's important for us to remember, especially in times of discouragement that the Lord truly loves us and cares for us. How can He forget us, when we are inscribed in the palms of His hands.

God loves us and desires that we turn to Him in repentance. Therefore, He will do whatever is necessary to get our attention. If we allow the Lord to refine us, we will experience His presence, love and grace and He in turn will be glorified.

To be a true disciple of Jesus, we must be tough-skinned while at the same time, we are exhorted by Jesus to turn the other cheek when being persecuted. How can we do that?  Only through the power of the Holy Spirit within us.

Throughout their history the children of Israel committed idolatry and worshipped other gods. An evil committed against the Only True and Living God. We would do well to check our own hearts to see if we might be guilty of the same thing. If anyone or anything is more important than the Lord in our hearts, we are guilty of the same evil committed by His people. Is your heart divided? Do you have one foot in the world? Where and who has your allegiance?

Isaiah has words of encouragement and hope for us today. We can at times feel weak and unusable to the Lord. However, the Lord through the prophet Isaiah speaks words that when we are feeling weak, and the flame of our faith seems as if it is growing more dim, the Lord will not throw us away or snuff us out. Instead, He will strengthen us and restore our usefulness. He will rekindle the flame so once again we will shine brighter than we ever have.

Then He was seen by other followers, including 500 people on a single occasion. Soon, word spread everywhere that Jesus had risen from the dead . But could Jesus' resurrection simply be a 2000-year-old legend? Or is it based upon verifiable evidence?

What is Passover about? It's salvation, initiated by God, towards underserving people, out of His love and faithfulness , to make His name known. Sounds an awful lot like the Gospel, right? He has been in the business of rescuing and redeeming underserving people since the beginning. Passover is a major expression of that and one that pointed to a future Passover, in which not just a lamb but the Lamb would suffer and die.
