The Resurrection - 1 Corinthians 15:1-23

Christianity is based upon a historical fact: Jesus died and rose from the grave and eyewitness testify to that fact. Since He conquered death, He is who says He is and is able to do what He says He will do, give us eternal life. The reality of the Resurrection gives substance to our faith and gives us the ability to face life's toughest challenges with the assurance that God is with us, for us and will never leave us.

Order, Flexibility And Order - 1 Corinthians 14:26-40

The Corinthian church was having problems in their public gatherings because the use of spiritual gifts was not being exercised properly, as well as other issues arose which brought confusion and chaos. These believers were doing their own thing and pleasing themselves.  The Apostle Paul once again gives them practical advice on how to accomplish the necessary order needed to bring edification to the whole church and the surety of Jesus being revealed.

Will They See Jesus - 1 Corinthians 14:1-25

The Apostle Paul knowing that the Corinthian believers were abusing and misusing the gift of tongues in their gatherings,  spends time in this chapter helping them understand God's intention for the proper use of this gift. Paul reminds them that every gift is given by Him for the purpose of edifying others, so that others will be able to see Him.

The Most Excellent Way - 1 Corinthians 13

1 Corinthians chapter thirteen is referred to by many as the "Love Chapter" and rightfully so. However, the word for love that Paul speaks of here, has a much deeper meaning than how we typically understand love and use the word love. It's the kind of love that will transform our lives from the inside out and will remain throughout eternity. It's agape love, the love that comes from God Himself, which gives us the ability to love genuinely and selflessly.

Unity in Diversity - 1 Corinthians 12:12-31

Spiritual gifts are given by God for the purpose of believers to function as parts of Christ's body in harmony, unity and peace. It is essential that we value and appreciate how God has gifted each one of us differently, so that we build up His body and bring glory to His name.
