But could Jesus' resurrection simply be a 2000-year-old legend? Or is it based upon verifiable evidence?

What is Passover about? It's salvation, initiated by God, towards underserving people, out of His love and faithfulness , to make His name known. Sounds an awful lot like the Gospel, right? He has been in the business of rescuing and redeeming underserving people since the beginning. Passover is a major expression of that and one that pointed to a future Passover, in which not just a lamb but the Lamb would suffer and die.
