The Manna Reality - Exodus 16:4-36

God miraculously provided manna from heaven daily to feed His people in the desert. As awesome as that is, another attribute of God stands out even more...His faithfulness. His remained faithful to a faithless and ungrateful people. He continues to be faithful to us today even when we are faithless and ungrateful.  He may not deliver us out of our times of being in the desert, but He will see us through and will faithfully provide everything we need to sustain us.

Learning To Lean - Exodus 16:1-8

The theme of this message is to learn to be content, no matter our circumstances. God has faithfully performed the miraculous on behalf of His people. He has powerfully delivered them from bondage, their enemy, provided sweet water, clothes and shoes that would not wear out, bread from heaven. Yet they grumble and complain endlessly to and against Moses, not realizing ultimately, they are grumbling and complaining against God. The answer to complaining and murmering is to learn to be grateful which produces contentment. Because of His great mercy, Jesus died for us and has given us eternal life. He loves us, the question is do we love Him and does that translate into godly contentment?

Lessons Learned At Life's Bitter Pools - Exodus 15:22-27

As we journey through life we will encounter bitter situations as did the Children of Israel, when they came upon the waters of Mara. They were tired and thirsty only to find when they came upon water, it was undrinkable. Believing they would die God provided a "Tree". Moses threw it into the bitter water and the water became sweet. The people were able to drink from this pool and live. In times of our own bitter encounters, if we trust God, He will turn them into something sweet. He will take the bad and turn it into good, He will take what seems like death and turn it into life.  "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who trusts in Him."  Psalm 34:8
