When Elijah meets the widow at Zarephath she is down to her last bit of flour and oil. She believes that she and her son are at the end of their lives. But as she gives out of her need to Elijah, she experiences a miracle of unlimited provision of flour and oil. God knows your situation and whatever your need is, He will faithfully provide for you as you share, sacrifice and give to others in their need.

We must believe and trust that He is sovereign and is bigger than any problem we face. He will always keep His promises and will always bring us through whatever difficult circumstances we find ourselves in.

The church at Ephesus neglected the most important reason the church exists...love. love for Jesus, the One who loved them first and died for them. We need to consistently do a heart check to see if we might be guilty of neglecting and leaving our first love. If so, we need to repent and rekindle the love and passion we once had for Jesus, the One who loved us first and died for us.
