Coming Up Short - Luke 5:1-7

Have you ever come up empty?  If so, then you can relate with Peter in Luke chapter five. After fishing all night, he came up empty. However, when he put Jesus in his boat, obeyed Him by launching out into deep waters and allowed the Lord to instruct him, Peter's nets were overflowing with fish. When we choose to obey God even when we don't understand His methods, we, like Peter, will no longer feel like a failure, unfilled or empty.
