The Feast of Unleavened Bread and First Fruits

The Passover Lamb is a foreshadowing of God's Lamb the Messiah. The Feast of Unleavened Bread points to the sinlessness and the purity of our Savior. The Feast of First Fruits reveal ascpects of the first coming of God's Lamb, who would be the First Fruit of God's redemption. We celebrate these three Feasts because of what they show us regarding our Resurrected Lord and coming King.

The Passover-Then And Now Exodus 12:1-15

Exodus 12- the Passover chapter portrays what was involved in the deliverance of God's people from the bondage of Egypt. It points to Jesus our Passover Lamb who has delivered us from the bonadage of sin, by the shedding of His blood on the cross.  It is essential that we understand the significance of Passover and what it means to our lives today.

Road To Emmaus; Road For Us Luke 24:13-49

There is alot that we can learn from the story titled Road To Emmaus. We can learn about ourselves by looking at the two individuals in the story. We get to see Jesus' heart for the two and in turn His heart for us. We also get to see Jesus as a supreme example and learn from His ministries. And finally, we catch a glimpse of how the Holy Spirit can work in the lives of followers today.

Poverty Isaiah 58:10

Isaiah 58:10 says, "If you give what you have to the hungry, and fill the needs of those who suffer, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your darkness will be like the brightest time of day." We can be the answer to a child's prayer, by providing for their basic needs, showing them that someone loves them, cares about them and shares with them, the One who will give them hope and a future. In return we will be richly blessed, especially when we give obediently out of our own need. Trust Jesus, He is our provider.

God also has an "irrevocable decree", all people are sinners and worthy of death. But the Messiah gave His life, to deliver all who believe in Him from that "irrevocable decree" of death.
