Romans eleven teaches us something about the patience of God that can be summarized this way: God is ready when you are. It also teaches us about His unchanging call. In this chapter Paul answers this often asked question...has Israel been cast aside, or is there a future and a hope for them. The calling of Samuel by God is a pivotal moment in the history of Israel. This is not only a transition from the time of Judges to the prophets but Samuel is also the prophet that anoints the first kings of Israel. There is much from this story that we can apply to our lives but ultimately this story reveals to us on an even deeper level, the character of God. God at one time spoke to His people through prophets but now He speaks to His people through His Son, the King of Kings.

Jesus in His earthly ministry spoke highly of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, believers too should have a high view of the Holy Spirirt. He plays a vital role in the regeneration of a person and continues a mighty work in Christians throughout their scantification and time on this earth. This message covers six works of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. This is not a complete list of the Holy Spirit's work but an observation of several works that each believer experiences and should acknowledge.
