We have been rescued and delivered. God has brought us through tough times in our past and has proven to be our refuge, deliverer and redeemer. If you are facing some tough situations today, be encouraged to know that your God will be who you need Him to be again, bring you through again and will do whatever you need again. He will never fail you.

Psalm 46 reminds us that even when trouble surrounds us we need not fear. The Lord loves us, cares deeply for us and He will see us through. We can rest in knowing that He is our promise making, promise keeping God.

Today we live in uncertain times. People are fearful and despairing not sure of what the future will look like. The writer of Psalm 91 recognized and believed God to be a shelter, refuge and protector, the one who promises to cover us and keep us as we abide in Him.

We serve a God whose Hands are not tied and have never been tied. No matter the circumstances we may face, we serve a God whose Hand is mighty and has complete control over your life. In the words of the prophet Isaiah, chapter forty one, verse ten, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My Righteous Right Hand." Trust the Hands that hold you.

We live with the illusion of certainty, however, there are very few certainties in life. There will be times when events happen and our life can take an unexpected and possibly an unpleasant turn. You can find yourself in a very hard and trying situation. As you cast your cares on Jesus, you will find that you are not alone, not forgotten, not forsaken. God's grace and peace are always available and inexhaustible.
