The Vision - Daniel 7

Daniel chapter seven is the most important chapter dealing with end time prophecy in the Old Testament. Some of the events mentioned have already been fulfilled while other major events are yet to be fulfilled. The vision Daniel had was extremely troubling to him. However, included in his vision was the LORD, the "Ancient of Days" who was seated on His throne, who still is and will always be reigning.  If He reigns in your life you are a part of His eternal Kingdom and will one day rule with Him.

The Writing On The Wall - Daniel 5

Proverbs 16:18 tells us, "Pride comes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall."  In Daniel chapter 5 we see this scripture fulfilled in the life of Belshazzar, King of Babylon who refused to repent and humble himself even after he saw, "the writing on the wall", written by the hand of the King of Kings. The question for us is, how will we respond to "the writing on the wall?

The Roar Of Victory

Satan thought he had dealt a fatal and final blow, that he had the final word as Jesus hung dying on the cross. However, the enemy couldn't have been more wrong. The Victim became the Victor, Jesus had the final word. It was a shout, the roar of victory when He said..."It Is Finished!" The power of sin and death was defeated and now we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Solomon wrote in Proverbs sixteen verse eighteen, "Pride comes before a fall." A lesson King Nebuchadnezzar learned the hard way. May we learn more quickly to live humbly before the God who rules and reigns over the whole earth and over us. In so doing we will live a life of fulfillment and  purpose.
