In these remaining verses of Daniel 11 we see the rise of the Antichrist and the terror he will bring as well as we see him come to an end. As we are living in the last days may we guard against the temptation to be lax in our faith but rather have and maintain a sense of urgency to be even more committed and devoted to serving and living for Him.

A Ram, A Goat And God - Daniel 8

Daniel has his second vision of a two-horned ram destroyed by a one-horned goat, followed by the history of the "little horn", which is Daniel's code-word for the Grecian General Antiochus Epiphanes, (foreshadow of the coming Antichrist) who invaded the Beautiful Land and defiled the Holy Temple. Even though Daniel was physically affected and deeply troubled by this vision that he could not understand, he still rose up and went about the king's business and we must rise up and be about our King's business.
